Before the course began, I have randomly assigned each person a role and a group. I have attached a calendar for you and your group members to identify a date when all group members will be able to present in a live, synchronous online chat. You should also fill out an alternative date in case the group cannot meet during the originally scheduled time. In the calendar, label the day and time you will meet by entering "Meeting Date" as the title, and displaying the first name and last initial (MarkA) of each member in the group. In the alternative date, it should be labeled "Back-Up Date" and then list the group members names as detailed above.

Students are prompted to use the discussion forum to chat with group members while they are reading their books. Although banter between members is encouraged, it will not be graded, which should allow you to feel comfortable and relaxed in an authentic environment.
However, using the message board is required at least two times a week to let your group know your progress. You must provide a brief update to your group, and myself, telling us what page you are on and describing the main idea of the pages you have read. At the top of the page, you should indicated that this message is to be graded by writing "Required message 1 (or 2)" in the message subject line.

Now that you have completed your online literature circle, you will have one week to answer the questions below. You can respond in the discussion forum below, just be sure to number your responses as indicated here :
